The first belt was dual plated with a blue strap that looks great to this day. The plates and leather were made with precision and care. The second belt was nickel with a black strap that included removable side plates, banners and nameplates. The belt is completely customizable. I got my belt from Main Event Belts in late 2018 for my 200th road race. I have been a huge wrestling fan almost all my life and to commemorate 200 races in not quite 8 and 1/2 years I wanted something special. What I got I can’t put a price on it so well made and beautiful. It’s really a conversation piece and I even displayed it at my wedding reception and people wore it. When I reached out to Main Event Belts I had a vague image in my mind of what I wanted for the belts to commemorate our wedding. Gav took my vague suggestions, asked thoughtful questions and helped me develop beautiful belts that are better than anything I could have dreamed up on my own.

My collection has belts from every major belt maker. Parks, Millican, JMAR, Nikolaou, Dan Van Alst, TRB - you name it. I'd put my belts from Main Event Belts up against any of them. I don't know how they do it, but MEB has about the crispest plates and etching you'll ever see and completes with the most intricate paint work I've ever seen. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, MEB added world class leather man Miles Collier to its team and began to do plating in house. The boys at MEB are deeply committed to quality and in doing things themselves instead of outsourcing, they've somehow manage to improve upon quality I would have already given an A+. With most things in life, there is a trade-off between quality and price. Main Event Belts is one of those rare companies that gives you absolute top quality at exceptionally good prices.
